I rode for the first time in a treeless saddle and felt my horse was very uncomfortable as the pad was pushing down on his withers causing pain i only used a comfy pad underneath, do i need a treeless pad with gel?

In a word, yes! the right kind of numnah under a treeless is as important as the right kind of saddle. If your horse has a good set of withers and/or muscle wastage you will need a shimmable treeless numnah. Shimming does the same job as flocking in a treed saddle as it is this that lifts the tree off the withers and spine, not the tree itself. The other problem with using regular numnahs under treeless saddles is that you could cause undue pressure along the spine due to the conventionally sewn seam and the lack of a gullet which is present in most treeless numnahs. I’ve added a link to a treeless forum that has some very helpful & knowledgeable members.

Hi, on peoples saddles, some people buy the fluffy things that go on top to make it more comforable for the horse. whats it called?
Thaaaanks
NOT HORSE I MEAN RIDER
a numnah is what goes underneath the saddle! im on about on top!

It’s called a Seat saver:
Numnahs and Saddle Pads go under the saddle not over!
BuT don’t buy an artificial sheepskin. You sweat really badly, and that’s not good for your nether regions! Invest in a real sheepskin one – some are even machine washable on a wool wash: Tip – white looks great but is iimpractical but on the saddle and under you bottom a black one looks tidier and remains looking good longer.

I have a saddle, bridle and horse shoes so i tried to go in a competition but it says you have to outfit your horse with your bridle and that. How do i do it?

You can only put tack on a horse that’s over 3 years old

Once your horse is of that age, there will be an equipment box (under the reproduction box) appear on it’s page
Just click on "equip", then choose the saddlery you wish to put on.

Do you any places to find a cheap horse saddle? I dont really wanna spend more then like 700$. English saddle, doesnt matter size or anything. XD thanks!

If you’re okay with synthetic, try looking at Wintec. They are inexpensive, are practically indestructible, and you can buy one with the Easy-Change Gullet System so that it can fit a variety of (but not all) horses. And I’m wondering why size doesn’t matter?!?!?! That’s one of the first things you need to look at!
