And also sell equestrian equipment such as riding clothes, riding helmets, riding shoes, etc.
The things I’m looking for are all the basics like saddles and grooming items.
Price isn’t an issue, I want brands or shops that sell excellent quality items.
Thanks!

I’m asking this because I used bell boots on my mare for the first time today. She’s never worn ANYTHING on her feet or legs before – not even shoes. She was walking like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xyexou_v1YI
It was hilarious. I’ve used bell boots on horses before, but never on a horse who had never worn them before. I wasn’t expecting a reaction at all.
So… Has your horse ever had a funny reaction to a new piece of tack or equipment?
LOL, yes, my horse did that exact same thing the first time I put splint boots on him!!! It was HILARIOUS, I even got it on video with my cell phone. But my dad reported that cell phone as stolen, so now there is a lock on it and I can’t even get the phone numbers I used to have off of it, etc. It’s a long story.
Also, the first time I put a tailbag on my horse he kept flicking his tail all over the place and flipping it around like a wind turbine, LOL.

Whats the PPE used around horses?
I have the obvious, but would like to see what others feel is Personal Protective Equipment.
So evertything you can think of, put it in.
No sarcastic answers please…
Thanks.
HELMET is number one.
Chest plate just in case.
elbow guards–definately with biters!
GLOVES leather are great, but I use the plasticy palm ones when feeding, and chucking hay.
BOOTS I have two pair, one I use when I need to be fast on my feet and am expecting trouble while training, the others are muck boots when I have to clean the stalls and poo pick.
Half chaps are good…they absorb alot of the shock when kicked
a crop or whip is a great training tool to keep them moving
your mommy/daddy voice. seriously…this one has gotten me out of so many close calls. a great booming HEY works pretty good in a tight spot. just dont do it behind the horse…or within cow/kicking range.
